Vanoli: "Details make the difference"

On the eve of the Day 8 of Serie B 2023/24, when Venezia will face Modena at the Alberto Braglia stadium tomorrow at 14:00, the arancioneroverdi coach Paolo Vanoli analyzed the team's situation and the opponent.

“Against Palermo we did an excellent performance, episodes made the difference and the big regret is only the result. Surely it's a defeat that should serve as a lesson for us, against big teams attention to detail makes you win or lose games. I really liked our attitude, our goal came from the anger of winning back a second ball.
Definitely my team still lacks some guile and experience in certain situations that seem small but can be decisive in a game. Now however we have to recover our energy for tomorrow, we have an important game ahead of us and we have to react immediately by showing our character.
Tomorrow will be the third game in a week, the most difficult, and I will have to make my evaluations on the starting lineup. Not all my guys are used to playing every three days, we will need everyone, these are games that are also won from the bench. Our opponents are doing very well, they have never lost and they have great players, and the mentally stronger team will prevail."
