“Today, in my opinion, we didn’t put in our usual performance; something was missing, both in terms of intensity and mentally in certain decisions. We faced a very strong opponent that we knew could cause us problems, and we were still good at bringing the game home. I congratulate my players because they are having an extraordinary season. Today we could certainly have wrapped up the match earlier by going 2–0 up, but that didn’t happen. We still have the match in Reggio Emilia to close out the first half of the season, but up to now I can say the team is wonderful.
