Primavera on-loan striker Hilmir Rafn Mikaelsson signs permanent transfer

Venezia FC are pleased to announce the permanent transfer of Iceland youth international striker Hilmir Rafn Mikaelsson from Icelandic club Fjölnir.
Mikaelsson, 18, joined Venezia’s Primavera side on loan in August 2021 and made 20 appearances with five goals and two assists in the 2021/22 Primavera 2 season.
On 22 May 2022, Mikaelsson earned his first team debut, coming on for Dennis Johnsen in the 73rd minute of Venezia’s match with Cagliari at Stadio Penzo in Giornata 38 of the 2021/22 Serie A season.
At international level, Mikaelsson has made seven appearances with three goals for Iceland’s Under-19 national team.
