Pietro Ceccaroni extends contract

Venezia FC are pleased to announce that defender Pietro Ceccaroni has signed a contract extension through the 2026/27 season.
Ceccaroni, 26, has been a model of consistency since arriving from Spezia in August 2019. Originally on a season-long loan, Ceccaroni made a permanent move in August 2020, and has led the team in appearances in each of the last two seasons.
The steady left-sided center-back played all 90 minutes in 42 of 43 Serie B regular season and promotion playoff matches in Venezia’s promotion-winning 2020/21 season, and played all 90 minutes in 34 of 38 Serie A matches in the team’s return the top flight in 2021/22.
