Venezia FC is pleased to announce that the club has agreed to a three-year contract with Israeli international midfielder Dor Peretz, 26, who arrives on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Tel Aviv.

After coming up through the youth academy, Peretz has spent the last seven seasons at Maccabi (with the exception of a half-season loan at Hapoel Haifa), winning the Israeli Premier League three times and the Israeli Cup twice, with 168 appearances and 20 goals for the club in total across all domestic competitions.

Peretz has played in European competition with Maccabi in each of the last six seasons, with 44 appearances and 2 goals in total between the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League (including qualifying rounds).

In international play, Peretz has earned 20 caps and scored 2 goals for the Israeli national team.

Dor Peretz joins Venezia FC
