Nicholas Pierini joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC are pleased to announce the acquisition of attacker Nicholas Pierini, 23, from Serie C club Cesena. Pierini has signed personal terms through the 2025/26 season.
Born in Parma, Pierini came through the academy at Sassuolo and eventually broke into the first team in 2017/18, making three Serie A appearances and one Coppa Italia appearance that season at the age of 19. A series of loans would follow over the next three seasons, as Pierini made a total of 57 appearances with eight goals in Serie B between his time at Spezia, Cosenza, and Ascoli and 12 appearances with three goals in Serie C while at Modena.
In August 2021, Pierini left Sassuolo for Cesena and went on to enjoy the best season of his career, making 37 appearances with 13 goals between the Serie C regular season and playoffs in 2021/22.
Pierini is a former Italy youth international, having earned three caps with the Under-19s and one cap with the Under-18s, all coming in 2016 under manager Roberto Baronio.
