Mato Jajalo joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC announce the acquisition of Bosnian midfielder Mato Jajalo, following a permanent transfer from Serie A club Udinese. Jajalo, 34, has signed personal terms through the 2024/25 season.
Coming through the youth ranks of Slaven Belupo, where his professional career also began, Jajalo racked up 100 appearances between Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga with FC Cologne, before moving to Italian side Palermo in the 2014/15 season.
With Palermo, Jajalo made 147 appearances between Serie A, Serie B and Coppa Italia, before joining Udinese in the 2019/20 season and collecting 58 appearances and one assist in the top flight and Coppa Italia.
At international level, Jajalo has earned 11 caps with the Bosnian national team.
