"Today we were unrecognizable in every way. I think today’s was our worst performance, and it came unexpectedly considering the journey we've had up to this point. This is a league where you can’t approach a match like this in such a manner — Cagliari absolutely deserved the win today. We have to roll up our sleeves and get ready for the next match against Juventus. It’ll be a tough game, but there’s still hope. It’s a real shame because today it felt like we never even stepped onto the pitch in Cagliari."

“We’re really sorry for today’s performance. Our approach to the match in terms of attitude was wrong, while Cagliari did well to put us under pressure right from the start, making the most of set pieces, where they’re really strong. Also, when we had control of the game, we lacked effectiveness. Now we need to rediscover our enthusiasm and give it everything in the next match against Juventus, playing our chances right until the very last second.
