I really wanted to meet you today, on the eve of the match against Cesena, the first at home after the transfer window closed.
I believe this is the right time to share with the press and the fans – two fundamental pillars of Unione Veneziana – the vision and the challenges that await us in the season that has just begun.

The current scenario shows that the club’s project is ambitious: every year we want to give our fans a team capable of fighting for seasonal goals.
But our growth is not based only on dreams; it must have solid roots in financial balance, sustainability, and the long-term vision outlined by the ownership.
Within this framework, the sporting management and I work every day, with the responsibility of balancing sporting goals and financial stability – believe me, not without difficulty.

What does this mean? That we will bend our ambitions for growth to the needs of financial sustainability? NEVER!
It is not a simple task, especially in Serie B, but it is one of our challenges.

We are driven by PURE MOTIVATION: we want to build a winning mentality and a modern club that can last over the years, bringing satisfaction to the fans and being a source of pride for the city.
If we remain UNITED – fans, press, club, team – match after match, moment after moment, we will be able to fight hard in this league to achieve something great.
Unione Venezia is our STRENGTH, it is our SUPERPOWER to get the best out of ourselves, to push higher and higher, to fight for everything so we can compete for our goals, beyond our limits.
A concrete sign for the present and the future? Investments in the youth sector, entrusted to Roberto Colacone, to develop homegrown talents for tomorrow.

Another strong signal? The transfer market, the result of careful planning and sacrifices, shared with the club, my staff, and the coach. We have built a competitive, young squad, capable of aiming high and fighting until the very last matchday for Serie A. A squad that can thrive under the expert guidance of Mr. Stroppa – an ambitious, prepared, and winning coach, who has embraced the project and is working with passion and great focus alongside his staff to increase the value of the team and the club.

Among the challenges to overcome this year will be to always remain READY, DETERMINED, HUNGRY, and INSATIABLE. Nothing will be handed to us, and we will not win matches just because we are called Venezia.
We are not starting as favorites, we do not feel like favorites, and we will not be fooled by summer compliments – the last two matches must serve as a lesson.
In Serie B, nothing is given away, and our opponents never give up, even those fighting for different objectives than ours.

In this transfer window, we have sent a clear and strong message:
