Venezia FC announces the permanent signing of French defender Antoine Hainaut, 23, from Parma Calcio 1913. Hainaut has signed a contract through the end of the 2027/28 season.

Born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Hainaut developed in the youth academies of Lens and Boulogne, making his first-team debut for the latter in the 2021/22 season, where he recorded 31 appearances, 1 goal, and 3 assists. The following season, he joined Parma, helping the club secure promotion to Serie A in 2023/24. He then went on to play 25 matches in the top flight, scoring 2 goals. In total, he made 46 official appearances for the Gialloblù.
