Venezia FC announces that an agreement has been reached with FC Koper for the permanent transfer of defender Ahmed Sidibé.

Born in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, France, the 2002-born footballer has signed a contract that will tie him to the orange-green-black club until June 30, 2028, with an option for a further 2 years.

A product of the AS Saint-Étienne youth academy, Sidibé made 39 appearances for the club’s B team before joining FC Koper in Slovenia for the 2023/24 season. During his time there, he made 61 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

So far this season, he has featured in two UEFA Conference League qualifying matches, as well as 4 league appearances.
