Venezia FC Unveils Pre-Match Jersey as Part of the New Collection

Venezia FC (VFC), the professional football club of Venice founded in 1907, announced today the kick-off of its iconic 23/24 jersey kit, which this year underscores the team’s bond to the city of Venice and celebrates the relationship between the fans, referred to as the arancio, nero, verde community, and Venezia FC. Today, the club released its pre-match jersey from the 23/24 collection, the first of its four-piece collection, known for its unique style, fashionable image, and Italian quality. The Venezia FC 23/24 pre-match jersey is currently available starting on shop.veneziafc.it and at the official Venezia FC stores in Rialto and SS Apostoli, in Venice and at the M9 Museum in Mestre.

Inspired by the city of Venice and the spirit of its beautiful people, Venezia FC worked on this campaign with well-known English photographer Sam Gregg. The kit campaign, which included a street casting with locals from all generations, showcases Venetian citizens as its protagonists, both from the islands and mainland, who make up the social fabric of this one-of-a-kind lagoon community. Focusing on fishermen from the Giudecca area to the artisans, to locals playing football in the campielli up to the shipwrights of the squeri, all ordinary people united by a single common thread, which represents being Venetians. Ultimately this campaign is a tribute to its fans, highlighting the soul of the city, and its locals in their various facets of everyday life, who are the essence of our football club.

The collection was born from Venezia FC’s collaboration with the Bureau Borsche design studio, responsible for the club's rebranding in 2022. The 23/24 pre-match jersey is made up of vertical stripes equally divided between the club colors, orange, black and green, on which the club logo stands out in white. The release kicks off the third season of Venezia FC's partnership with Kappa.
