Venezia FC announce CharityStars as Top Partner

September 14, 2023

September 14, 2023 – Venice, Italy. Venezia FC, the professional football club of Venice, and CharityStars, a leading international charity auction platform, are pleased to announce a new partnership for the next three seasons. As part of the agreement, CharityStars will become the club’s new Top Partner and their logo will appear on the match shirt sleeve of the Men’s First Team.

CharityStars offers unique items and unforgettable experiences to support charitable causes. The aim of the platform is to unite forces, technology, and passions to generate a wave of positive change. Auction winners have the chance to live a dream and companies support the causes they are passionate about by accelerating fundraising for charities.

Over the course of the three seasons, the central elements of this partnership will be the exclusive supply by the Club and the sale, through the CharityStars platform, of match worn shirts and exciting experiences at the P. L. Penzo Stadium. Part of the collection will go to the Polisportiva Terraglio to support the Powerchair Football project.

According to the club’s principles of social responsibility, Venezia FC was the first Italian professional organization to participate in the Powerchair Football project. The objective is to promote an inclusive culture to support sports causes among girls and boys with disabilities, and this partnership is aligned with this mission.

Domenico Gravagno, CEO and Co-Founder of CharityStars, said “We are honored to partner with a historic club like Venezia FC whose values are perfectly aligned with ours. We are also pleased to be able to offer our Italian and international users the opportunity to own a piece of sporting history and, at the same time, make a difference, generating a positive social impact.”

Filippo Antonelli, Sporting Director & General Manager of Venezia FC, said "It is a source of great pride for us to have the Charity Stars logo on our jerseys and to partner with such a socially responsible brand. Venezia FC’s community values align with some of the key elements that this agreement allows us to pursue. We are proud that part of the proceeds of the agreement will go to Polisportiva Terraglio to support the Powerchair Football project, a very important initiative. Our club has a mission to support socially relevant initiatives and to serve as ambassadors of positive values that only football, in all its forms, can convey and amplify effectively. In 2021 Venezia FC was the first professional club to enter the world of Powerchair Football and we are proud to be able to include these athletes among those who compete wearing our colors,” he added.
