Kailey Willis joins Venezia FC Women

January 22, 2026

Venezia FC Women announce that they have reached an agreement with Parma for the temporary signing, until the end of the season, of Maltese player Kailey Willis. This marks a return to the orange-and-green side, as Willis already wore the Venezia FC shirt in 2024, scoring 19 goals in 20 matches.

Having grown up with the two Maltese clubs Tarxien Rainbows and Birkirkara FC, she left her home country at the age of 17 to join Hellas Verona, where she stayed for two seasons and made her Serie A debut. During her career she has also played for Chievo Verona Women and AS Meran Women, before moving to Venice to join Venezia FC Women. After her spells with Parma and Brescia, she now returns to be part of the Lionesses once again.

At international level, Willis progressed through all the Maltese youth national teams before reaching the senior national team, with which she has so far scored 3 goals in 16 appearances.

Kailey Willis said:
I’m very happy to be back; for me Venezia is like a family. I can’t wait to wear the orange-and-green shirt once again. With my goals, I’ll try to help the team earn as many points as possible between now and the end of the season.

Welcome back, Kailey.
