Four arancioneroverdi players have been called up to represent their national teams for the upcoming international fixtures in November.
Defender Ridgeciano Haps has been selected by coach Stanley Menzo for Suriname’s two qualifying matches for the next World Cup in the North and Central American group. On November 13, the Suriboys will face El Salvador at home at the Franklin Essed Stadion in Paramaribo, while on November 19 they will travel to Guatemala City to play against the Guatemalan national team at the Estadio Cementos Progreso.
Luxembourgish defender Seid Korac has been called up for the double fixture in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. On November 14, Luxembourg will host Germany at the Stade de Luxembourg for the fifth matchday of Group A, and on November 17, they will travel to Belfast to face Northern Ireland at Windsor Park.
Bjarki Bjarkason will wear Iceland’s shirt for two crucial away matches in Group D of the World Cup qualifiers: on November 13, he will fly to Baku for the game against Azerbaijan at the Bakcell Arena; and on November 16, Iceland will take on Ukraine at the Stadion Wojska Polskiego in Warsaw, on neutral ground.
Forward John Yeboah, whose Ecuador has already secured qualification for the next World Cup, will play two international friendlies. On November 14, Ecuador will face Canada at the BMO Field in Toronto, and on November 19, they will travel to Harrison, New Jersey, to take on New Zealand at the Red Bull Arena.
