Venezia FC announce that they have permanently acquired the sporting rights of midfielder Simone Panada from Atalanta.

Born in Brescia, the 2002-born player has signed a contract that will tie him to the Lagoon club until 30 June 2030. Panada will remain at Atalanta on loan until the end of the 2025/26 sporting season.

Having come through Atalanta’s youth academy, with whom he won a Primavera Championship and a Primavera Super Cup, in the 2022/23 season he wore the Modena shirt, making 12 appearances and providing 2 assists. The following season he moved to Sampdoria, where he made 4 appearances in the first part of the season, before returning to Atalanta to play for the Under-23 team. With the Nerazzurri second team, he recorded a total of 7 goals and 14 assists in 75 appearances.

At international level, Simone Panada has worn the Italy shirt from Under-15 to Under-20 level, totalling 56 appearances and one goal.
